Jul 19 - B.C. to Prosser - Leave from Some Bagels at 8:30 am. South on Goethals, jog to Acme, up I-182 trail to Queensgate, Keene, Kennedy, to BC. Up Weber Canyon to County Wells Rd. Over to Patterson Hwy, and down into Prosser for lunch at Blue Goose. Back via Old Inland Empire Hwy to Benton City. Black approx. 70 miles. For those wanting a shorter ride, start at ~9:30 am from Benton City Conoco. Leader: Howard Gardner, 943-9084
July 26 - Climb Clodfelter - Leave Some Bagels @ 8:30 am. Ride to the river trail and follow along 240 across the Yakima river. Leave trail at Bus Barn and turn right on Columbia park trail. Roundabout to Steptoe. Left on Gage and right on Grandridge, right again onto Pittsburg, right onto Quebec which becomes Deschutes continue to Columbia Center Blvd. Turn right and right again at Clearwater, making five rights in a row. Left onto Clodfelter and follow until tired out or on top of the world. Return via Leslie, Keene trail, I-182 sidepath and Yakima trail to Duportail and then left on Thayer, and finally right on Williams and back to Some Bagels. Depending on timing stop at Subway, Round Table, or Smoovies; or all of the above. 29 miles with the biggest climb available in the area.
Aug 2 - Sacajawea Park - Meet @ Some Bagels at 8:30. Follow river trail to I-182 bridge over the Columbia River. Follow Court street east to river trail. Follow the trail until the asphalt ends, it should extend under the cable bridge now. Cross the Railroad on Ainsworth. Return to the trail just after the Marina. Follow the trail to Dock street and turn right. Continue to watch for the trail off to the right and return to the trail as soon as possible (after the hay packaging facility at the latest). Follow the trail to Sacajawea entrance road and ride out to the confluence of the Snake and Columbia rivers. Rest in the shade then return following the same route. 15 miles out and 15 miles back flat ride
Aug 9 - Hanford out and back via West Richland - Meet at the normal spot and time. Follow the river trail as far north as possible except perhaps the last ½ mile to 300 area barricade. Take Washington Street north to Stevens drive and continue on route 4S to the Y barricade. Return via FFTF if allowed. Right on Horn Rapids Road, (north-most light) left to Kingsgate. Right on 240, left onto Twin Bridges then left onto Grosscup to VanGiesen and return home. 41 to 42 miles depending on FFTF mostly flat. Leader: George Kyriazis 375-1977
Aug 16 - Richland trails and more trails - Start at Some Bagels at 8:30 AM and head south along the river trail. Ride around the point and along 240 to bus barn then turn right onto Columbia park trail and turnabout onto Steptoe. Right on Canyon Dr, then left on Bellerive. Turn right onto Keene road trail take trail to Queensgate turn right and follow trail along I-182 bridge. Curl under bridge and come up at Duportail. Cross 240 and continue north on trail along bypass. Head out to 240 for a mile at VanGiesen. Take trail at Stevens then continue north on Stevens road right onto Horn Rapids Road and continue past GW left and up to 300 area end of trail. Turn around and go back to Lampson crane yard then follow trail to wherever you got onto the trail then backtrack to Some Bagels. 28 miles with less than 10 miles of road.
Aug 23 - Cable Bridge loop - Starting at Some Bagels in Richland, ride bike trail out on Kennewick side and back on Pasco side. Leader: Aaron Allen 942-0110
Aug 30 - Ride by committee in honor of Labor Day - Pick a way to decide where to turn and which way then follow thru until majority revolts or sees a good place to eat. Return when tired.
Sep 6 - Burbank via TRAC - Ride down to I-182 overpass and cross the Columbia. Turn north on Court then right on Harris. At the end of Harris locate beginning of trail near the Sleep Inn on Road 100. Follow trail to Argent road and continue East on Argent past the airport and turn right on 4th and continue thru Pasco to A street and turn left. Follow A street to Hwy 12 and turn right to cross the Snake River. Wander around Burbank for 5 to 15 miles. Return over the Snake river then turn left onto Sacajawea park road and follow the road to the southeast end of the bike trail. Follow the trail back to Richland like in Sacajawea park ride a month earlier. 40 to 50 miles depending on wandering in Burbank. Flat ride
Sep 13 - Badger Canyon - From Espresso World: 7510 W Clearwater Ave, Kennewick, WA at 8:30 AM. Take Clearwater southwest into Badger Canyon. Turn left onto Webber Canyon road and climb the canyon then follow Travis Rd. to Sellards road. Turn left on Sellards and then left again at Clodfelter road. Coast as far as possible during the descent. Turn right on 10th then left onto Columbia Center Blvd. Finish by turning right onto Clearwater and going the 1 block to Espresso World. 42 miles (Kennewick). Bring extra water because there are no good water stops on the ride.
Sep 20 - Wannawish - From Some Bagels in Richland travel west on Williams to Sacramento street (end of Williams) turn right and right again on Birch then left onto VanGiesen. Thru West Richland and right onto Grosscup continue straight when it becomes Harrison and continue to the end of the road. Return by way of north side of the canal on Canal Dr. and Fallon Dr. Stop at WR golf course for a snack then return to VanGiesen by continuing down Fallon Dr. Left onto Van Giesen then right on stevens. Left on Williams or before to get back to Some Bagels. 23 miles flat ride.
Sep 27 - Sagemoor from the troll’s parking lot under I-182 (Pasco side) - 8:45 am to allow Richland folk to get across the bridge. North on Court, left on Dent. Mountain bikes north on Richview and follow canal to Columbia River Rd.(1.5 mi shorter) Road bikes continue on Dent and left onto Columbia River Rd. Right on Sagemoor, right on Birch, right on Taylor Flats and return to Douglas Fruit. If little traffic on Taylor Flats continue on Taylor flats to water towers then right onto Sandifur Pkwy., left on Rd 100 followed quickly by a right onto Harris and back to the start, else if traffic is a problem follow Dent back to starting point 27 miles (2 ways on Dent) mostly flat with a couple of steep climbs 200 feet tall and less.

Oct 11 - Benton City and Climb to the winery on Red Mountain.
Ride counterclockwise to hit winery after BC.
