Tri-City Bicycle Club Ride Maps
Less than 15 miles with nearly level terrain.

15-40 miles with moderate terrain.

Greater than 40 miles with moderate terrain, or fewer than 40 with hard climbs.

VIEWING: Clicking on the map will bring it up in an Acrobat Reader window, assuming that you have installed the free Acrobat Reader software.  If you do not have Acrobat Reader (TM), download a free copy using the button.  A smaller, less intrusive alternate is Foxit Reader.

PRINTING: PDF maps should print directly from the Reader.

CORRECTIONS: If these maps are any good at all, it is because I have received many suggestions over the years from riders. Mark up a map and send it to the club address. If you have a suggested ride, send a map or a description of the route.
Welcome
Most of the maps in this site were made with TurboCad 6.0, using data from rides and other map software, particularly DeLorme Street Atlas USA™.  DeLorme is not used for most of the map images due to several shortcomings. The first is the fact that few club members and others have this software. Second, for large-scale maps, such as the Hat Rock to Pendleton ride, fine detail such as downtown Pendleton is lost when the entire map is printed on one page. A CAD program overcomes these problems by allowing scale distortion where needed. Finally, the CAD maps can be saved in a common format, such as PDF.
